it is possible because you both have Triton series keyboards, which both have HI-synthesis engine and same amount of effects... allthough you'll just have to make sure that you load sounds based on the basic Triton Studio ROM...

hi, thanks for the answere :D

sry, i m not sure about what u mean with "sounds based on the basic studio rom". I have to overwrite my banks of sounds with the triton pro's ones?

The Triton Studio has ROM of 48MB and the extreme has 160MB which means that the extreme has many samples that Studio does not have. However you can add expansion cards to the studio (I think there are 7 or 8 slots for that) and if you have sounds based on those cards they might not work in the extreme... but if your fried has only the basic triton studio with no expansions all his sounds can be loaded to the extreme.

If you're trying to load up sounds from the "Triton Studio" (that doesn't have any expansions) you're fine, you won't have any problems, UNLESS you're loading sounds from one of the expansions.

If you are trying to do that, you would have to edit the sound, figure out what multisample it is trying to use, and find the sample in the Triton Extreme. But in most cases, you won't have to worry about that, and usually the file would say somewhere on the internet page that it uses "EXB 06/07" expansion or something like that. If it doesn't, you should be fine just loading it up.

Just thought I would mention this, in case it was overlooked....Program Banks J-M are the same as Triton Studio Program Banks A-D. So there is no need to copy program sounds. And you can copy the Combi sounds, and just change ur bank references.
