SD card problem

I bought my first SD card for my M50 and doesn´t work.
I can't format it in Media section: all options are showned disabled.
The SD card is a Kingston MMC 2 Gb (there's no additional info about FAT in card's packaging).
It runs on my PC, I can record files on it, but when I introduce it in M50's slot keyboard doesn't read it.
I tried the card on another M50 with same negative result.
How could it be that card runs on PC and not in keyboard?

I think to use a 2GB card on the m50, it has to be formatted as FAT32. Since it runs on your computer, stick in in there, right click on that drive and look at the properties. If it's not set to FAT32, reformat it (on the computer).

I formatted card as FAT 32 on my PC as you said but there's still same problem: m50 doesn't read it.
Also my PC allows me not to format in other value than FAT o FAT 32.

Walter, MMC is NOT SD. MMC is MultiMedia Card. SD is Secure Digital. Although some SD readers are MMC compatible that is not the case with the M50. You GOT to get an SD Card. And just a regular SD, NOT SDHC.

card isn't mmc, is a simple 2gb kingston sd card; the usb device to insert multi cards in pc says "support mmc cards". sorry for wrong info.
but still, this sd card is not read by my m50.

Walter and I met last Friday and it's a regular SD card that didn't work in my M50 either. Funny thing is that the card works in his PC.

When you met with Walter, did you happen to try one of your SD cards in his M50? I'm wondering if there's a problem with his M50 ... maybe NO cards will work in it ..

No, I didn't.

I agree that he has a faulty card drive in his M50.
