i've not tried it yet, anyone finding it a better way to work if near a pc?
a bit of a hassle going through all the menus with the hardware, does using the editor allow you to edit and hear the effects on a sample in realtime?
im not saying this very well.
what i mean is, when connected and using the software, does the pc software control the microsampler unit and its effects in realtime?
editing effects with the editor software

So far that I have seen the computer cannot control the Korg in real time, but they can transfer data back and forth fairly quickly. That is a feature I would like to see added in updates if possible. The software isn't all that impressive right now although it does serve a purpose. I sample into the Korg via line in and then transfer to the PC to chop and edit quickly, then upload my new bank back to the Korg.
the effects are responding in real time though! if anyway could tap the sysex parameters it would give the poss. to have all efects parameters be midi controlled.
i like the editor, altough realtime control ofall parameters would be grand.
doing a jam with some elements, transfering to the mac finetuning the loops editing the effect and transport it back.
only it seems the midi files get translated wrongly, sudenly differents notes get played if played back in live
