trying to dump audio tracks from the triton via cue list into protools. we have jacked around with the manual and the effects routing screen attempting to bus individual tracks to L/R and indiv outputs 1,2,3 and 4 into protools.
does anyone know how to assign tracks to the 6 separate outputs? please help i am ready to shoot this machine!
well, you've got it right, its in the effects routing. if you are using IFX, you can set their output bus instead of the track output bus. but obviously if you are using multiple tracks routed into the same effect, then you can only take the output of the effect, which is a bad idea. take the effect out and i'm sure you'll find an equivalent or better in protools.
I can't remember, but if you can only select pairs, you can force them to individual outputs by panning hard left, hard right...

You can also solo each track, one at a time, and send it to the main output. That way, you'll also be able to use the effects on the Triton instead of having to redo effects settings in Protools.

I am not trying to add effects, i just want to be able to dump 6 tracks at once from the triton into protools.
I suspect that it is accomplished via the effects routing. I have selected "no effects" and have the bus on. it shows the routing with a line but it says off in the cue screen. I cant seem to get output to the individual outs.
Is there a way to simply route tracks to the L/R and 1,2,3,4 individual outputs to get six isolated tracks out at once?
Can anyone give a step by step or check list of things to ensure? I know I am close just can't get the output yet.
