I have a cd containing samples from a vintage Mellotron. Each sample is for a different pitch covering the octave( C, C#, etc), and I have them in both aif and wav format. Is there a tutorial available on how I would convert these individual samples into a new sound that I can add to my PA2xpro, so I can incorporate into styles and performances.? Can I do this on the the Korg, or would I use external software ( maybe Awave?). Which format ( ie wav vs. aif) is better, or doesn't it matter? Thank you for any help from our more experienced members.

Hi Larry, I have a Basics Tutorial on my website using Awave. It may be helpful to you, give you an insight. I would use the wav but either will do the same job...

Hi Larry, I would download the trial version and get used to the software first. You will have 30 days to evaluate it and test out your results using single samples on your pa. Just follow the Tutorial and see how you do...
