I guess I should've introduced myself here before I posted in the microsampler forum but I guess it's not too late. Hello, I'm Paul and my knowledge level is pre-novice but I'm eager. I've never really had the time/money to dedicate to learning anything music related; I'm an electronics technician in the military. Anyhow, things change and in about a month I'll be somewhere far away from home where I'll have both the time (when not working) and money to delve into music. Specifically I listen to hiphop/R&B and am interested in creating music along those lines as well as delving into dance/techno/dnb or anything that sounds good to me I guess. Currently I plan on getting an x50 and EMX as per recommendations on the forums here. I won't post any question in this thread.. instead i'll hop into another category and post a few burning questions I have that I couldn't locate with the 'search' feature. This seems like a good community so far as I can gather.. any advice is welcomed with open arms. Take care all.
