korg m50 editor deletes my programs
when i load the korg m50 editor plugin it transmits data to my m50 (instead of receiving!?) and so it overwrites all my saved user program with empty user programs. the same with combinations. am i doing something wrong?

Re: korg m50 editor deletes my programs
I don't have an M50, but the M50 editor would have to be able to transmit data to the keyboard AND receive it from the keyboard; otherwise the program could never be kept in sync with the keyboard.ggg wrote:when i load the korg m50 editor plugin it transmits data to my m50 (instead of receiving!?) and so it overwrites all my saved user program with empty user programs. the same with combinations. am i doing something wrong?
I would suggest looking in the manual (or in the software options) regarding "transmit" and "receive". There has to be a way to perform a one-way sync.
I was having the same problem, so first I went into "Media" mode on the M50 & saved all my data to the SD card.
I had to dig around in the Editor software, but if you go into "Global" in the Editor (on your computer), there's a place to make it not do that. I don't recall the steps because I was just winging it and exploring. It's there, though.

I'm not sure if it is the same on M50 but on Triton series, if you edit your sounds with realtime knobs in combi or seq mode, those changes are not saved.ggg wrote:i have another problem. when i change the decay, cutoff or something else in sequencer mode or in combi mode, my changes disappear after some time...
You should use the Tone Adjust mode on M50 (or was it only on M3) and tweak with that and save. Then your tweakings should be saved.

I got into the same problem today when I tried the M50 VSTi in Cubase 5. It seems like the M50 VSTi dumps the state of the M50 when the VSTi was created, because I get some older versions of my combis loaded.
Even after I exit Cubase the "old" state is still present. If I turn my M50 on/off then I get the correct state back. This doesn't happen with the standalone editor.
