Need assistance with imported wav loops

Post by AshAussie »

Hi guys,
I have these professionally done wave drum loops. When i import these loops to my pa2x and playback, the loop plays fine once then it stops for a quick second and then look back again. I want to find out how to delete the gap between the loop so that the wave file plays continually.
Another questions is , i have downloaded some wave samples which i want to use as sound. How do i do that?
Please assist. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
Regards
Ash

I wrote a small little app a while back that will tell you what the loop points are so you can loop the sample or cut away what you don't want.

Hi Ash,

If you want to use a sample sound as tone, you need to make a multisample using different note samples which is require in most of cases as one note sample will not sound authentic on entire Keyboard. After creating a multisample you can store it in a user bank like you save drumloop slices in case of a loop and use it, edit it or even you can use effects on it and play it.

HItesh.
