Just got myt M50...love it.
I downloaded some combis from a guy who created a great "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" combi, along with a good "Tom Sawyer", too.
Downloaded them fine and they play fine, until I downloaded the Pro Vintage Keys" programs. I think the PVK programs over-wrote some programs that make up the other combis I downloaded.
How can I change where downloaded programs & combis are stored on the m50? They seem to automatically go to the places where the original creators wrote them. In the editing software, can I change the locations before they sync to my board?

There is probably another way, but I just saved the combis I needed in separate files. Then I noted down which patches in these combis were modified and saved them too. Just remember to backup your original patches/performances before you start. Using this approach, you can even put the patches in a different posistion if you like.

I don't have m50 so I'm not sure if this works, but with my triton classic I go to the .pcg, open it, then go to programs (or combis or whatever you want to load), and open it, then I normally choose one of the banks and choose "load selected" from the dropdown menu. After this the Triton asks me that what bank do I want to overwrite. This way I can always overwrite the right bank. Of course you can always go even further and open the bank on your media and load separate programs whereever you want to put them.

Ok, basically what I did is load the Pink Floyd Combis first. I knew that the vintage keys programs were going to overwrite Bank E from 96-127, so I found any programs in the Floyd Combis that were in that range, and re-located them. then I just changed the programs in the combis to the new locations. After that I downloaded the Vintage Keys programs and everything was cool.
