Checkind MIDI ports en mi PC?

Post by fabsilver »

Hi anyone:

I have a ECS GeFORCE6100 SM-M motherboard.

Does anybody know where I can find the midi port / games in the BIOS to see if enabled or not?

I can't do nothing using Midiquest XL 10. :?

Thanks.

Finding the Midi port

Post by lukos »

Sometimes it is called MPU-401 but you will need a socket for it on your PC somewhere, if you don't then you might as well get a cheap sound card with midi on it. On some older cards you had to get a funny cable to adapt from the D type to a MIDI din socket. Otherwise, google will know about your motherboard.
