Well, to me the M50 is pretty cheap and cheesy looking (even the M50 logo looks cheesy), but at least it's black. Shallow though it may be, that was my first consideration for buying a keyboard. I'm sick of all of these silver keyboards (and white). That's a fad that I thought would pass much sooner than it has. I lived through the 70's when everything was silver and "futuristic", and they just remind me of shag carpet.

That said, the M50 is an awesome keyboard, and ultimately, it's all about the sounds. And the touchscreen is pretty damn cool, and makes up for the cheap Chinese logo.

O K like someone said before...such terms are useless: cheap, cheesy, corny...etc. (i just had to throw corny in there)

however...everyone has their own views while others just like to seemingly yet indirectly "complain" about how ungrateful they are (not literally)

overall...i love my KORG keyboards...meanwhile all the over-rated brands are inflating their ego with their "expensive" prices

yeah a keyboard can have "good sounds" but that is so lame! c'mon people! in reality it's not about the "sounds"...it's all about you!

and if something as minuscule as how something "looks" gets in the way of enjoying music then im sorry but there is something wrong with you! (as stated before) not the damn keyboard...and with that said im going to go enjoy my M50 not because of how "cheap" or "expensive" it is or how "cheesy" or "corny" it "looks" or "sounds"...but because i enjoy music for what it really is..."creation"

Sounds matter very much. In fact, it's all about the sounds. Music is sounds! Good musicians like to play good instruments because it makes them sound better. They know that others will enjoy their creations even more if they use great sounding instruments rather than bad or ok sounding instruments.

I know my songs sound much better on my $1000 M50 keyboard than on my $60 Roll-Up piano. But hey, if you disagree, let's do some trading. I will give you the Roll-up piano for your M50.[/quote]
