lyrics and mp3

Hi

Does anybodi has an idea how to syncronise an mp3 file with lyrics (.txt)?
It will bi fine if you do not need to use page up and page down function while you are playing with the mp3 file.

Any ideas?

Synchronising ? Midi file is a programmable language, within that language there is a programmable possibility to add text to it.

MP3 is not a programmable language, but an audio recording.

So i think it is not possible.

But I hope I am wrong

Hi rockfeller

Sadly, you cannot do this. The next best thing is to create a text file with the lyrics and use a pedal (or switch) to scroll down on the lyrics screen whilst playing he MP3. You can set this all up in SONGBOOK - works just great - I am using "lyrics" facility (text files) to replace my music (paper) in some cases.

Hello to all !
I am sorry to have to disagree with the above mentioned remarks about the difficulty to synch text and .mp3 files. It is possible to synch text with .mp3 files! . I use it all the time , and I posted in this very forum about a year ago or so , how to do it . It seems that there are several ways to do it . I use lyrics3Editor combined with winamp with excellent results and it works 100% of the time.

With this program you can implement lyrics IN the mp3 so when you
play the MP3 - it works as karaoke with text scrolling

PS : I have 8.000 karaoke songs with CDG - Pa2x doesn´t handle
cdg, so I´m about to take the important songs and implement the
text into the mp3. If you need some please let me know, and we can
trade !!
