midi and bank changes

Post by runeharpun »

I've never used bank changes before, so I was wondering if anybody know how to switch to a spesific combination within one of the 4 banks?

How would I for instance go about switching to C99? Would that be a CC0 with value 2 and then a patch change of 99? I notice that there are two CCs for bank chang - e 0 and 32. Do I need to use both? :?

Thanks,
R

Figured it out. First send a midi CC 32 with 0 - 3 (bank A - D), then patch change.
