Want 2 collect SNDs from different PCG's & make a new PC
Neef help from you friend's
I own a TR. I tried different PCG' s that I have got from different peoples. When I load a single PCG, some its sounds I feel good and useful for me but some are not. When load another PCGm there also some variety and nice sound. Is is possible to take the best sound from these different PCG's and make a new PCG of my own
Need a better answer!!!!!!!!!!! With hope

Use Media mode to load select sounds from a PCG, instead of loading all of them.
I organized my TR by backing up the factory presets in a PCG and removing all the default sounds I wouldn't ever want to use. I backed up again at this point. Then, I took all the PCGs I was interested in previewing and made a list of every sound I liked. Then, I reloaded the latest backup (factory presets with some empty slots) and selectively loaded the individual sounds from each PCG that I liked, putting them in empty slots, so they're now on the keyboard in addition to the factory sounds.

you can open a PCG file on the TR instead of loading it.
there you can navigate inside to different patches in the PCG (and different combis, although they'll only work if you have all the right patches in the right places).
you can then load the patches you want from inside the PCG.

You can't erase a program or combi, but you can overwrite it with something else, replacing what's already there. If you want to create "empty" slots, you could make a simple program or use the D-127 - Init. Program from the factory settings, and copy that to other slots. Change the name to Empty if you like.
