How can I change voice in live along playing with a pattern

Hai
I was trying to play along with a pattern. But it is not becoming possible to change the track for a different instrument during playing or when my fingers on the keys. Why this is happening. I already own a PSR 2100 where I can change the instrument by pressing the REGISTRies, they will change even my fingers in the keys.
Pls help me on this matter..........
I am very much interest in Music.
