Prob a dumb question, but help a newbie out please?

Post by muzik_guy »

So I'm a new owner of the TR76 & I have one question. I use all sorts of different tunings & combis throughout the course of a single performance. I want to store each of them so that the different settings can be recalled with a touch (or two) of a button. I spend too much time scrolling thru voices & tunings (I cheat & transpose from time to time) between songs on my old keyboards. I understand this is much easier with this board. Any help for a clueless newbie? Thanks

Thx Stephen, I did read the thread & have somewhat of a better understanding. I guess I was hoping I could dump my individual settings to the SD Card & recall each one as needed. I'm totally naive when it comes to workstations, since I've been an analog guy for aeons. Please pardon my being a little clueless

You can also save a particular combi, with the tuning or transposition you desire into any bank you'd like and give it a helpful name ( song title, patch name ect.) This entire collection of customised voices can be saved on your SD card. Along with a save of the factory settings.

I too sometimes like to cheat on individual programs to transpose tuning to suit guitar changes

You can set the pitch adjustments of individual osciis (in prog mode) or progs (in combi.)

In combination mode:

Press menu, and open the PRM1 screen. Press F5 and you will see a screen to adjust the pitches of each individual prog in the combi.

In program mode:

Press menu and open the Basic screen. Select OSC1 or OSC2 with the F2 and F3 keys. The right side of this screen adjust the pitch transposition for the osciis in the program.

Have fun!
