How can I use a Motif to change Triton Le voices ??

Post by kspssd »

I have my Motif midi out to the Triton Le midi In. Select SEQ mode on the Triton Le . I can select different tracks/midi channels on the Motif but the voice never changes in the different tracks of the Triton. What info needs to be sent from the Motif to the Triton Le to change voices in the different tracks ?? Is there a setting in Global in the Triton that must be set.???

Thanks for any help

You probably have a filter turned on.
In SEQ mode there is a Program Change filter for each track, try turning it off.

There's also a master filter in Global mode, make sure that's not turned on also.

Regards.
Sharp.

You also need to make sure that the Motif and Triton are using the same MIDI channels. If that still doesn't work, it might be that the Motif only sends program changes via MIDI while in master mode.
