I searched for this problem, and didn't find it, if it has been addressed already, please point me to the proper thread.
I'm syncing my micro-x as a slave to an mpc-1000, and sometimes the arpeggiator just won't work. I press the arp on/off button, it lights up, but when I hit the keys nothing happens. If the "Keyboard" toggle is switched on then the notes being played sound, but no arpeggiation. I can fix it by turning the power off/on, or it sometimes fixes itself after patterns/combis are switched around a bunch, but this isn't really practical when I'm in the middle of playing live, and have other voices being sequenced on the Micro-X. I can't pinpoint what is causing this, if it is a MIDI error caused by the MPC (haven't sync'ed it to other devices yet, I will try), or if it is a sync or MIDI setting I've overlooked, or what.
Any help?
A simple ARP sync problem

I think you guys are misunderstanding.
I'm using the MPC as a clock and a sequencer, and it works 80% of the time. It is an intermittent problem, and setting the micro-x to ext or auto doesn't change a thing--It'll work for a bit, and then suddenly I'll try to use the arp and it won't work.
I've also set the Micro-X to only receive the necessary MIDI data, and the problem still arises.
I don't know what the "RT" toggle does, or what the "Convert Position" PreMIDI/PostMIDI does... and haven't read up on it yet... Guess I'll go do that.
