Here's what I'm after: I'm having a little trouble understanding the manual on how to save SETTINGS on the keyboard for the songs I play at my gigs. I have an inventory of about 600 songs that I would like to save my personal setting to and have at the ready for my performances. I assume I should probably put them on a USB flashstick. On my Yamaha
board I add them where I coulld call them up on a footpedal. I installed a hard drive on that instrument to store the settingsl I don't know how much memory my PA800 has for this purpose. Anyway I'd like tp get started on this project and hope someone out there in Korgland knows the best way to do this,. Thanks,. JerMac

Hi JerMac,
You need to create your own Songbook entries to do this. You can arrange a footpedal to step forwards and backwards through songbook entries. Each songbook entry can either load a MIDI file, or an MP3 file, or can set up a Style and associated performance settings.
You can also use a PC-based songbook editor to make corrections and changes very quickly. It's called sbedit.exe and is downloadable from Korg's web site.
Best regards,
Rob

Thank you Rob for the quick response. I shall go to work on this.
You responded the other day to my inquiry of kind of getting the song book names that are on the Korg where they can be better understood.
You asked what keyboard I have, which is a PA800, that you have a program that can get this done. I'm afraid my hi-teck talent falls short of my musical ablility. Thanks again for your help. JerMac

Hi JerMac,
If you would like to send me an email then I will gladly reply with a version of the songbook which has the expanded titles. It was also posted at www.createsongstyles.com but I can't find it there at the moment, attachments seem to have gone missing. It was done by a user called Jurone, based on an expanded songbook for the Pa1x produced by me and a forum user called "booby".
BTW I will also swap some of your musical ability for my engineering stuff any day!
Best regards,
Rob
