Pc not picking up kaoss pad?

The software and driver installed fine but when I connect my kaoss pad by using the usb cable and put an 8 bar loop into the software to send to my kaoss pad, it doesn't seem to recognise its there. I'm using Vista 64bit is that the problem does anyone know??

Sometimes my drivers stop working, and I just go into program files are mess with them (ie uninstal/reinstal or confirgure) until it the editor recognizes the KP3

am i the only one who tried googling 'sip of the glons' just to figure out what the hell you were talking about?? no hits, or at least none that seemed to demystify... oh well.
