ESX: copying patterns

Post by CELL »

call me a noob but can you copy one pattern to another bank with the esx?

i wish to create modify patterns and build a song from em.

any help or reference to the manual would be appreciated.

yes, it's very easy. Go to the pattern you want to copy.... hit write once, turn the main wheel to the pattern you want to save it to.... hit write again.

Remember the manual is your best friend.

LOL yeah you'll find the Electribe workflow to be quite well thought out, which makes them a lot of fun to use live. I had a chance to play with an MC-808 from Roland and if you like getting lost in a maze of menus and sumenus to do the simplest things, the MC-808 is da King.

yup! it's a shame the 808 is so hard to edit, otherwise it would be the king, period! good sounds, great sequencer and all, but just a real pain in the ass to use..

you'll learn the electribe faster than any other machine, it's pure joy :)
