Hi Everyone, New Member that needs some help!

Hi everyone,
My name is matt, 23 from South Wales.
Iv been into my dance/electro music for a while now and fancyed having ago at creating my own songs.
Iv have no experiance of playing live or knowdelge on what to use.
In the summer i went out and bought a Microkorg and KP3, which im loving and i have made some nice tunes on my microkorg.
I was thinking of getting a emx-1 next, to gets some beats in with it.
Only problem is i dont know if im doing the right thing.
Should i of bought some kind of software for my laptop to create songs first and then once that was done went onto purchasing live equiment?

No one i know can point me in the right direction on how i go about creating dance/electro music and then playing it live.

If i did buy some software and created songs, how would i go about getting to play it live?
If anyone could point me out in the right direction that would be great or tell me any great magizines out there i could read to get a better understanding how the whole process works.

Sorry if sound like a complete amatuer thats because i am lol!
Im only just starting out with all this and just need to now how people go about creating a song and what equiment they use - to auctualy playing it live in clubs.
