m3 editor problem
Ok I think I need some basic explanation on using the m3 editor because everytime I use it I cant load my session back...Ok first I open my sequencer (Pro Tools LE 7.1) with my Korg M3 ON then I load on an AUX Input the Korg M3 Editor and everything works well (the korg is synchronized with the M3 editor) but then when I save the file and close the session, next time I open it I have to LOAD the Korg M3 editor file I saved previously. And when I do so, either there is a LOAD ERROR or when its loaded nothing happens is there something I AM NOT doing correctly? Its been a while IM trying to work with the M3 but it seems like Im always having problems...
You should describe things a little more explicit, for us to see what's going on. Protools is not familiar to me. Apple/PC?
In the Global menu, you can select an autoload file. You also can select which midi device to use. Try to set those, if they aren't already and then hit the utility button and save as default.

The M3 editor file you can save on your computer, but when you load it into the editor your M3 is not updated automatically. You can to that in the utility menu of the M3 editor. Easiest way is to do a "receive all". Save the file on your computer and make the editor load the file automatically at start up (you can select that in the Global menu). When you change something you just update the specific program or combi and save it again.princeali wrote:ok actually pro tools in on PC and my actual problem is when I save the m3 editor file and I load it back it just doesnt load or my parameters do not load...do I have to save the file on a USB connected to my Korg m3 in addition of the Korg M3 editor file?
Is this what you mean?

Yep... sorry.. forgot about that. In the Utility menu there select set auto load file. There you can select which file to select. In the Global menu you can check it.jerrythek wrote:It's a combination of looking in the Global Mode on the Editor, and the first page, Software Setup to tell it to auto-load a file, and then a command found in the Utility Menu of the Editor to set which file it will auto-load.
