a few emx noob questions

Post by spielkind »

Hi,

right now, there are two things i don't understand.

How do i delete a single synth-part-note (e.g. synth-sound on step 5)

How can i change the touchpad-arpegiator-length ... you know, i touch it in the middle, and i want it to keep the sound for a longer time, not just for 1/16, but like a whole beat ... (dificult to explain ;(

If i put the master volume to zero, i still can hear the emx a little, is that right?

thx in advance

to delete a note

1. select the synth part
2. make sure the button that says "keyboard" is unlit
3. Now every step with a note will be lit. Simply press the step you want to delete so that it is unlit.

unfortunitly, the arp only does 16ths. You can change the gate time by moving the slider but thats about it.

I thought moving the slider also changes the octave range your working in, not so much the gate...

Depends on if you have the arp set to be in reversed mode or not. I keep mine reversed, so the slider controls gate time and the touchstrip controls pitch. If you out the slider all the way up in this mode, the arp works in legato mode and notes will sound for as long as you press the ribbon. Not sure if it's the same in normal mode, but I'd guess so.
