any tut's for mx-soundmaking?

Post by spielkind »

Hi,

first of all, i'm pretty new to electronic music making, and now got an emx for like two weeks by now.

what i'm looking for are some kind of tutorials on how to make a special synth-sound ... i have been searching, and only found this
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=32381
and this
http://www.sequencer.de/synth/index.php ... ectribe_MX

maybe there is some kind of dedicated site or db to this, or maybe you could tell me what i have to feed google with ;)

It's not that i do not want to explore the mx myself ... but like with every instrument, it's faster and more fun, if somebody shows you some ways.

hope you can help me.

I dont know if you get any specific to the EMX, but if you have a grasp of the basics of analog modelling and how to use your EMX then theres plenty out there as most are written generically.

Sound on sound has some good stuff, i did a quick search:

But ive seen several others over time, im sure the other guys will have some good ones.

You should probably read up on the analog modelling basics though, as once you get that, then it opens up a shitload of doors for ya.
