Midi problems whit radias

Post by SIDX8580 »

Hi i got a realy iritating problem whit midi and the radias atleas i think its the radias,

Let me explain.

When i make music in FL studio and use the midi to adress notes and cc changes to the radias it goes fine but when i adress to many cc changes to the radias notes keep hanging or notes are skipt and the release of the eg2(volume env) changes to sustain,

now this is realy bugging me because it forces me some times to record parts of the song earlyer than plannend and also forces me to make the end of the song whit only the sound of the radias(sicne i have to record that)

Could this also be the way my midi is conected? it goes in one line

Pc out>Radias>mkorg>microx>controler>pc in(pc in is on a difrent channel)

Tnx for reading so far any body has some idee how i can fix this??

The Radias and MicroX have USB-midi, use separate USB cables for them and install the Korg USB-midi driver for them. Read the manuals.

What is the "controler" you refer to?

Using MIDI itself is your problem. You are sending too much data down the wire so the notes are arriving late.

The Korg MIDI/USB drivers let you use the Radias as the MIDI interface for your other gear. Since the MIDI data to the Radias will then pass over USB it can be sent much faster while the other data is forwarded via the MIDI OUT at normal MIDI speeds .
