And remember this:
IF the Korg Oasys offered me a 128 midi track sequencer like Roland's Fantom G or even better, pianos better than the Kurzweil's, symphonic sounds better than the Eastwest's, Drums and Basses and Atmospheric-Pad Sounds better than the Spectrasonics's, THEN I would be the FIRST to pay 11,000 US Dollars. And as I previously said, I always pay in cash no matter how much money I have to pay.
The only people who constantly Bitch about the Price are (a). those who either can't afford it,yet have a desire to own one,or
(b). those who are not a fan of Anything Korg, and are inferior to anything they produce.
If you have so much money then why don't you buy all those devices you mentioned and Quit complaining about the Lack of this or that on the Oasys
Its good that your doing a little research as to what it has or whether it meets your criteria, but this appears more like you want one and are trying to subconsciously justify to yourself its price tag,the only thing that the Oasys lacks for me is a decent sequencer and thats it everything else is worthy of the price,I have to use an outboard Sequencer, which works in tandem with the Oasys and its a wonderful partnership.
Those of us who own one will appreciate what it has or lacks.. You will never find one device that fits all your needs/Wants/wishlist,either in a $7,000 workstation or a $10,000 software setup.
The Oasys obviously doesn't fit your criteria or Budget, walk on by and find something that does,if Moneys no object then find a solution that does fit your needs
why are you still trying to justify the Price of the oasys!seems like you fit into the first analogy of Oasys haters, even though you like to socially show off you have cash, which is normally the total opposite or the stance of an arrogant ego.
