HOW TO ERASE A COMPLETE SONG ON THE EMX 1

Hi all,

After reading the manual, i still do not succeed in erasing a song on my EMX 1. Normally it should work, the manual says, if you push the SHIFT key and key nr° 11, but nothing happens, no key blinking, nothing. The only way to make an own song is to erase the part via SHIFT+key 8.
Please help, i'm going wacko:-)
