Hiya I have had my electribe for about 6 months and have only just realized you can control the electribe with the computer, when windows media player played a multi channel midi file through the korg!!
I’m using reason and the electribe together by the sync of the midi clocks, now reasons sequencer can’t do multi channel midi out. So I need some software that can and also midi to reason.
Anyone use Qubase or something like that??
Thanks for looking

It is definetly worth it.
Now as for cheaper... go to guitar center and buy yourself a nice midi controller that comes with a copy of live lite.... You then not only get a midi controller but also you can upgrade live lite to live 7 full for a lot less. Two birds with two stones but in the end you got a basic setup

i am just wondering why would anyone use software to control electribes.
the whole charm of the boxes is the hands on aspect and motion sequencing capabilities...
as far as mx sound goes - plenty of vsts out there with more sonic potential.
why get mx in anyway?
am i missing something with the live + mx combo?
