Someone please help me with my microkorg

ok, so i was on youtube looking for new cool things once i got my microKORG


the youtube video told me to change a setting and ever since then some genres dont work when i press "arpeggiator"

im about to take it to guitar center and get a new one, but its not broken so can someone plz help me =/

You're going to have to tell us what setting it told you to change, or link us to the video.

hmm well idk if the video is the reason this is happening


heres an example of whats going on




when i play on the "trance" setting, theres no sound when i press arpeggiator.

and others dont work either =[

Without further info. all I can suggest is to reset the Global settings (this won't destroy your presets); see page 63 in the manual.

I'm relatively new to the MK, but it sounds like you have the midi clock set to 'external sync´. This way, the arpeggiator presets won't play without an incoming midi tempo message. Unless it gets those midi messages, the MK thinks the bpm is 0 (zero) and therefore - No sound

Try turning the midi clock from external to internal...
