Editor sound issues...

I just got my Korg X50 and thought I had everything set up correctly with my mac (although the same thing happens with my pc), but when I open the editor, I get absolutely no sound.

I've tried looking at the manual, following directions, downloading updates, randomly pushing buttons and changing settings, and growling in frustration

. Since the next step is crying and hiding under a pillow, I am hoping that someone can help me figure out why I don't have any sound.

Connecting the X50 by USB only is not enough to get sound.. you'll have to connect the audio cable to your PC as well and make sure your PC monitors that sound. On the Mac you'll probably have to start some kind of audio application to achieve this.
