ughh,
so my replacement electribe just came in and if i turn it up past about half way there is a static noise in the background that is really bothersome during the silence...
is this common and/or fixable?
I'm kinda tired of getting screwed up electribes...

Can you hear it through just regular headphones even?
Back in my day, we didn't have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we'd have to just shove them together.
Don't know which electribe you have but if it has tubes...replace them.
