Lowest 21 Keys are dead

Post by DrWho »

Yep - just happened today. No reason for it that I can find - didn't drop it, spill anything on it.

I guess it has to go in for repair - Major Bummer :(

Exactly! I rebooted with shift 0, reloaded factory PCG - still nothing.

I reloaded other PCG's that had globals settings - nothing!

But if I throw midi notes down in that range - the notes sound. So I am thinking it is the physical keys that are having a problem :(

Maybe not.
Personally, I would open up the Triton and locate the ribbon cable coming off the keybed. It's easily spotted.
Then make sure it's sitting into it's socket firmly.

I fixed 2 Trinity's in my time by doing that.

Regards.
Sharp.

Wow!
That really sucks!
I'd be afraid to open up my keyboards, but I'm a big Wuss, so if you're comfortable doing that, it couldn't hurt to try Sharp's suggestion.
Good luck man.
