Program/Sequencer Problems

Post by Jahman01 »

Greetings! I might almost be in transient on my learning curve with my new M3, but would love a little guidance. I am trying to enter an original created sound or Program, into a track in the sequencer mode. So I wrote a program in the program mode and saved it to an empty user bank. and then tried to open it in sequencing mode, but when I opened the program it sounded completely different and dead compared to the original sound I created in the program. Why?
Also, do I need to add a memory expansion to be able to save any sounds or programs I create so I can recall several different sounds say for a live performance, or are they saved internally after power down unlike songs in sequencer?

Give thanks!

If you didn't copy effect settings from program to sequencer, program will sound different in SEQ then in PROGRAM mode.

Regarding your other question, your user programs are saved internally if you choose write to internal memory option and you don't have to worry about memory, unless you are using your own samples and multisamples - then expandable memory would be good choice if your user multisamples exceed 64 MB.
