I would suggest calling them on the phone given you believe you have correctly followed the update instructions.

It might be too simple but...

Is your M3 on when you insert the USB drive? If so, do a "Scan USB device" in media mode so that you can see the files and folders on the device.

Then do the upgrade from Global mode. If you just copy the needed files onto the USB drive, inserts it in the M3's USB plug while the M3 is on and enter global mode directly, it might not have recognized the USB device yet.

I finally made it, ita was USB sticks that did not work correctly!
