styles question

Post by sazistas »

hello,
are there any programs on pc , that will read .sty files , play them and let you organize them and create banks and new sets from my favorites that i have chosen ? I tried PRM but it cannot play the styles from pc via midi and its extremely difficult to organise about 20.000 styles that I have in my pc. I cannot load one by one by diskettes into my PA80 and check them all, it will take ages.

thanks

That's a great question and I don't have an answer, but am interested in that one too. That would be nice to have!!!

Thank you, awesome program!!!!! But it seems that I have a problem , I load styles successfully, but when I go to play style button I cannot hear anything from my soundcard. I have also configure the GM/GS option in midi settings. Do you have any solution to that? or I must only use my korg pa80 connected to pc's midi out, for playing the styles from style works??

Hi sazistas,
To me styleworks is playing fine styles from sound card. In configuration, select midi settings and check the GS/GM check box.
There is also KAT2000 from MILAN MARCOVICH but the link at korgpa doesn't work.
Regards Bill
