Pa2X - checksum on boot

Post by Nesh »

Hi guys,

I am considering buying Pa2X in the USA next month.
It is 30% cheaper compared to my homeland prices (outrageous!!! - for Korg's attention), but I will lose local warranty. The board will remain however with a friend in the USA for another 2-3 months until it will be qualified to ship here duty free, so there will be time for warranty claims in the USA if needed.

Due to all the buzz around freezing and corrupt memory issues, can you propose a QA procedure to verify the integrity of the instrument? any secret boot-up combinations that will allow me to check quickly? I will not stay in the USA long enough to examine it thoroughly, load samples, etc.

Thanks,
Nesh

I just purchased a Pa2xpro here in the states and I have not experienced ANY issues whatsoever with bugs or freezing. I have not loaded any samples or custom styles, so that may be the root cause of all the issues.

The Pa2 is a wonderful board and gives me everything I need right out of the box.
