Hi, folks,
I know it's been a slow process, but you can expect a 64 combi collection for the M3 revoiced from my 64 combi OASYS project which is currently dubbed, "CATALYST". Slowly but surely, we (Karma Lab) will have both the M3 and OASYS version out to market eventually. My apologies for the delays, but other priorities have had to push CATALYST to the back burner.

The M3 version of the collection will have at least one EXB RADIAS combi. In fact, that one, "New World <EXB-R>" is basically finished and waiting for the master's (Stephen Kay's) touch to bring it up to Karma Lab standards.

Trust me. You guys/gals won't be disappointed with this collection.

Cheers,
Eric

Hi Greg, Sparkie, wuss,
Yes, indeed, CATALYST for M3, a 64 combi collection will be forthcoming. To the OASYS and M3 community, my apologies for the delays in getting this to market. Stephen Kay has been swamped with a ton of pressing obligations taking him away from fine-tuning my work to Karma Lab standards. We do have our plan in place which includes a very comprehensive User Guide for each combi. As we get closer to finalizing CATALYST for both OASYS and M3, we will make a major announcement. As to a projected date, I can't specify that. Just be assured that it's not a question of "if" but "when". Hopefully, that is sooner than later.

Thanks again for your support.
Cheers,
Eric

PS: The 64 combi collection won't cost you an arm and a leg. That's all I can say at the moment.
Cheers,

The Programs are being managed by Korg Inc - lot's of good stuff!!

Well... since I posted that, I've been QC'ing the Combis, and then got inspired and starting adding to the collection. So as of this morning we're up to 95!!

Lots of it is new, some are showing off techniques not exposed on the M3 (like side-chaining the Gate Effect, for example) and then converting some of the Preload Combis to swap out timbres with RADIAS timbres to show how an existing sound can be enhanced/changed with a little creative effort (a tip that most of you can do, even if you're not ready to program from scratch).

So a little patience pays off big dividends, right?

I've decided to hold off on my initial promise, let's aim as close to a full Bank as possible and really give you something cool.

Sparkie - others will now blame you for this delay, but you and I know that's not the reason. Or is it?

Sparkie ! The More you Caterwaul, the longer the new sounds take. Let the man finish his job :D

You know, a job, something that keeps some folks very busy 7 days a week, where they make $$$ and don't have much time to play on the Internet

Is there an opening at Korg for bad comedy writing ???

congratulations on the communications part, a lot of companies can learn of this :)

I agree with you, finish the bank first :) especially the special techniques (like sidechaining the gate :P ) are very interesting. We can learn a lot of it to see how you guys are doing the programming.

i've been a bit harsh to you in the past and i appologize for that. you are one of the few product managers that keeps their promisses. I really respect that.

looking forward to hear the sounds
