New sounds for the M3???

GC may be discounting the M3 for their imfamous "Presidents Day Sale". The sales guy wouldn't tell me if it was on the proverbial list... But I'm seriously considering the M3-88 instead of the 73. If it's discounted plus the addition of a free Radias-M, plus 12 months same as cash makes it awfully tempting. Just don't know if I could live with the M-3 acoustic piano. I like it a lot and it's a huge improvement over the Triton piano but I still like my CP-300 sample a lot better (CP would have to be sold). Then again, I believe Korg is going to be coming out with some nice EXB pianos.

Got a chance to play the 88 today. Very nice. Just can't play synth worth a flip on the heavy keys. It was nice to finally be at peace with my direction of choice. Gonna keep the CP and go with the soft keys on the M3. Now, according to the GC saleman the prices won't be marked down until Sunday afternoon for Monday's "Presidents Day" sale. And the sale will only apply to "in stock" items. Neither the Pensacola or Mobile GC's have the 73 in stock
Maybe looking seriously into the 61 if the price is right (with rebate could be a good deal
. You're right about the 88 being the mother load. That's why I need the 73. Since I'm not gettin' the 88 I need the extra keys. Not giggin' with the CP. The RD700SX is one sweet board. I'm interested to see how the new one compares. Don't think I'm gonna hold out though for the new Roland G.

Sorry for the offtopic here,
but i'd like to comment Bubba.
I tried both the 61 and 73, and i have to say... The buildquality of the 73 is (in my opinion) much better than the 61. And i'm really enjoying that extra 12 keys when playing combis etc (yes, i bought the 73).
So it all comes down to the size of your wallet i guess. but if you have enough cash, i'd go for the 73.

I don't like to be pushy

Two project - the Combis have been a US-only creation, we have around 64 together so I think we'll just release them as is so you can enjoy them. I'll try to get them packed up for next week.Synthoid wrote:Thanks Jerry....so we will be seeing new programs and combis?jerrythek wrote:Expect the new Programs in Early March.
