Trying to control Yamaha es rack with ESX

Post by akk1975 »

Hi. I push rec in esx and record es rack to keyboard part 1 via midi. When I play back chords arent there. Only one note at time. Is it so that it can´t record chords and if so does some other hardware seq. like roland mc-808, yamaha rs 7000 or akai have this function and enough polyphony to really make songs? Thanks?

You don;t need polyphony to make good music, some of the best synths are mono!

But yeah, sometimes it is annoying when you want nice pad sounds.

=)

I know I am no help at all.

:) , I know man! Mono is great but really......this is little bit limiting :).......do u know can these other machines do that?.......I am so tired to computers.....I would like to use these, cause timing is so much better.....talking about computers.... I just recorded esx output to pc ...... I used 24bit and 96khz to make best possible recording and now my pc plays that file in wrong pitch! God damn I hate these machines......
