Can you go back to the preset control knobs after editing?

i was wondering if you can/are-supposed-to-be-able-to hear the sounds live while you are editing them, or is it a bunch of guess-work?

They're in the Freebies section on www.philizound.co.uk - look for SyDs.
I've also uploaded them for approval to the Korg Download section on this forum but have not heard anything yet.
