how do I delete steps in step record during live PA???

Is there a way to delete steps on the esx and emx while in play mode with just one button or maybe a shift function without having to hit the each step on every measure? Hope this is explained clearly...

as far as I know, no but I'd love to find out if someone else knows a trick....

dont think u can delete all steps while in playback , but something ive found to be useful is to change selected parts in "part edit" mode to "3/4" output while playing to indefinatly mute the part rather than "part mute" . Then change back to "1/2" when u need .

It just means u can kinda hang yer part up while u get crazy on solo n other mutes n live play kinda messin , but without letting parts "accidently interfere .

However , this function serves no purpose in song mode , only pattern .

Not really what ur after bud , but at least its something .
