info on downloading

Post by Mockie »

Hi Folks

I would like to get information on the Richard Rose sounds in the

downloads section of this site. What sounds will I get, will it be a mix of all

instruments or acoustic pianos only or brass only or just pleasent

electronic noises. Can someone give me a sketch of how I go about

getting these sounds into my Extreme as I have never downloaded from

the net.

Thanks

There's usually documentation with the Rose files.
It's a mixed bag of sounds, as you'll see from reading the documentation.
Usually there's just one program bank. Load it to bank E.

Download the files and unzip them.
Then you can load the .pcg files into the Extreme.
Rose 1 uses a sample file, which need to be loaded also with the .pcg file.

You will need an application on your PC such as winzip.
You will need this to "unzip" the files (Usually right click and Extract here)
This will then open up folders that contain the PCG's, Samples and all other info.
