Can I edit my recorded knob movements in song mode?

Post by akk1975 »

If I make wrong knob movements while recording in song mode, I always go and change the song and come back to it cause it resets the movements and I get there where I was in first place. But I always have to save a lot to go ahead, and if I am not happy next day after saving what do I do? Just try to turn knobs again, or what?. I am afraid that I mess things up and change allready well mixed balance, and can´t get back. I was thinking that maybe there is some way to edit parameters closely. And can I just undo last knob movements somehow if hey went wrong. Thanks.

You can't undo the last knob movements unless you saved immediately before you did them.

You can re-record over them though, which is the easiest way. I don't know if you can edit knob movements in song mode through the screen. You definately can in pattern mode though.

You can always save the song to a new location and mess around with the copy, without affecting the original.
