ER1 mrk2 how to connect to Radias?
Hello Im a Piano player that is getting into synths. I have zero clue on connectivity, and the manual in very difficult for begginners. I would like to hook up my ER1 to my Korg Radias what are my options and how do they differ.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since the ER-1 is a more full sequencer, I would have the ER-1 as the midi master (set clock to internal) and have the Radias the midi slave (set clock to external or auto).
Connect a midi chord from the ER1 out to the Radias In. Now set the midi channels. If you want the ER1 to play its own drums only set it to a midi channel different channel than the Radias is using. The Radias uses 4 midi channels for its 4 parts.
Now the ER-1 will control tempo, also it can launch the Radias's Sequences and other stuff you may or may not want it to do. Use the ER1's midi filter to turn options on or off.
But if you want some real thick drums than have the ER1 play its own drum and trigger the Radias's drums, (you will loose one of the 4 Radias's parts this way). This way will take some preplanning on booth the ER-1 and on the Radias (use the Radias Editor to help)
Once you fully understand the two units you will see you have a powerful combination have great combination.
