Did you use an Oasys with the recording on this album?
And there was this one time at band camp......

The Lost Dream was a 100% Oasys internal production. That is why I am showcasing it on this forum.

Cool! Could you talk a bit about your process? Did you use MIDI tracks, HD tracks, imported samples, etc?

Hey Mike,

I bow to the master!

Anyways, the recording was done using all midi tracks and no external samples. The mixing was all internal and then everything bounced to the hard disk. The CD however, was mastered at Moonlight studios in Austin, Texas. I have had a lot of favorable reviews and feedback. CD Baby has already put in it's reccommended list for New Age progressive. It will be on itunes, msn, napster, etc., around the first of the year. I have not had a single person say it doesn't sound clean and professional. On a side note, I am one of those who really loves the current sequencer. I think if you take the time to learn how to use it and all the functions, it actually out performs the piano roll.

Hey - another one of these "Last Mohikaners" as we use to call such people over here. As I'm O-sequ-only as well I'm now VERY curious about your new CD. I suppose you didn't use 1.3 for it yet but stayed with 1.2.3 to finish it? :?:

Nice album Jamie just goes to show what can be done with the Oasys sequencer. I liked the themes and the variety of sounds used.

Thanks for the info, Jamie! I listened to the song samples and they do sound very clean - like you did it in a studio. Nice work. :D

Finally got a chance to listen to it. Sounds great and I agree it's nice to see what the O's sequencer can do especially with all the issues it has. 8)

Congrat's Jamie on your new CD. You have created an oustatanding showcase for just what the OASYS can do. I am truly amazed that you did all this internally.
