EXs-3 and Karo KPS 3.1

Hello All,

I install today the EXs-3 and load my lovely Karo Strings, but It sounded different

All the combis are changed

I hope Korg ore Karo can help me

Hello RC,

I loaded into user bank b, but I have the same problem with the granular stuff in user c.

It sounds to me like you may have overwritten something else or sometimes if you have something hooked up through midi or other means you may be layering stuff on top of each other.

We've had other reports of this. I'll look into this soon, but I'm on vacation for a few days (it's the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA).

One question: have you tried re-loading the KARO Programs (not just the samples, but also the PCG file)?

Hello Dan,

thank you for reply. Yes It is the same when I reloaded the PCG. I pm Karo and tell them my problems. Hope It works in the near future.

Hello to everyone,

we have a new KAROINIT.PCG file created, and this should be in the use of KARO CD-libraries previously invited. Now there are no more problems with the combis together with EXs3!

Our CDs are also partly to internal sounds like the drums and basses ...

Just wondering why you've included factory presets in your PCG instead of just KARO specific data. Did you alter anything there?

Hi Eric,

I downloaded the EXs3 and some internal programs come at the wrong place. Maybe It was probably the fact that so many user at the same time start the download... Many of our users had the same problem and PM me.

Our Combis are partly occupied with internal sounds, for example ... Bass and drums for Karma... Specially the KPS 3.1
Therefore, I created a KAROINIT.PCG
Now everything is working...
