Well, after switching the Kingston to the back slot and Factory to the front (Closest to the keybed) I have the exact behavior.
The only cure is to keep loading the PCG and KGE files. I don't know much about all this, but it does seen like a memory problem.
Perhaps the 1.3 update is to large for the 2g to run smooth. Just a thought?
If that isn't it, I sure hope there is a fix coming down the pike. My Oasys ran like grease before the update and now it's runs like a sick puppy.

OS Error
Come to think of it, I DID just update the operating system. And before I updated the OS I NEVER had this problem. I hope Korg is aware of this problem. For $8,499.00 there should not be ANY problems that I have to deal with on this thing...
Combis into SEQ errors
Hi Guys
I have posted similar problems with my Oasys at Karma-labs forum. Using auto-load to get a Combi into the Sequencer, the timbre/tracks don't drop into REC as they should, all the FX disapear, levels change, I sometimes hear piano when I should be hearing guitar, pressing LOCATE locks everything up for a while, the recorded song timbres and Karma sound different to the song I actually played.
I have tried swapping RAM sticks around as someone suggested but it made things even worse. I found yesterday that loading the factory demo songs in before I start recording my own songs seems to make things better but not perfect. ( can someone else try this and report back )
There appears to be an issue with how the O/S 1.3 interacts with some of the hardware. Has anyone actually had Korg confirm/deny these problems yet ?
I know that some people have found there own fixes, and I know that their fixes don't always work for others. How do we go about getting a final solution to this problem ? Did V1.2.2 have these SEQ problems ? I don't know cos I came straight in at 1.3.
If anyone from Korg can comment on whether this is a confirmed bug or just something that we are expected to live with, it would be appreciated.
I for one can't live with it permanently, for the money I paid for Oasys, rightly or wrongly I expected more.
