I just received a new catalog from Gator cases. I still don't understand how Manuel is putting a keyboard that has a 7" measurement at the center of the display to the bottom of the keyboard in a case that has 6" max. height specification. I can only think that if the case will close, it must be hitting on the top of the PA800 display and if it took a hit, it would either break the display off or badly damage it. The catalog shows the GK-261R model at 44" x 17.375" x 6". The Korg PA800 measures 43.375" x 15.25" x 7"
The Gator GK-61 lightweight case with wheels is 43" x 17.5" x 6.5". So, if you jam the keyboard into the case it might fit, but it will be very tight.
The PROEL measures 44" x 17.5" x 7". The model is called "PFOAM920"
The list price is $149.00.

Does Proel manufacture a hard case that will fit the PA800 for flight?

Correct size for PA800 ?

Post by adminrxb »

The Korg PA800 measures 43.375" x 15.25" x 7"
per George Kaye in an earlier post.

Korgpa.com and Korg.com both report the size as 43.7" (W) x 15.3" (D) x 7.1" (H). That is actually a little bigger than George is reporting in the post. Does that mean that the specs may be different than what is being reported by offical Korg documentation?

I will measure my unit today and will post back. Would be nice if someone else can do the same as well and post so that we can confirm the correct size.

Level 5 and above is more suited for traveling musician. Not used it myself so I can not comment on the quality and reliability.
