Thanks for sharing even though you've made us all jealous

Can't a bunch of sexy women get together witthout a group of musical equipment manufacturers showing up to try and distract everyone's attention? The nerve!

Great photos Sharp! A nice glimpse into the workings of such a show.

Pic #22, the red controller keyboards, aren't they the new ones with the moving faders? They look pretty funky. As does the controller/mixer in pic #18, the one with the funky arc'd meter bridge.

Loved the laser and light photos. I'm a sucker for lights and smoke. :D (I even used to work at NJD!)

Excellent. Hope your cold is on the way out, get well soon. :) Drink plenty guinness. :beer

Yep… They had a wireless midi transmitter broadcasting some very heavy CC#07 to all the keyboards. By heck where the faders moving really fast.

Pretty cool stuff.

Regards.
Sharp.

PS: I’ll fill you all in on all the gossip the weekend. Lots to tell you all.
The guys performing in the KORG boot’s and on stage where mind blowing.

Thanks Sharp - wish I was there!!!

I am guessing that it was "Thijs van Leer" playing flute in the pictures... (Loved the ladies with the turntables  )

Cheers

Hi Sharp,

Thanks for sharing the pics. Can't help noticed the Tyros 2 in one of the pics. How was it? Any good?

Yeah it sounded fantastic, but in a way it depends on what your looking for.
The guy performing was a very good musician, but no matter what was played. The keyboarded sounded more like a high quality CD rather than a live performance.

So, it just didn’t have that raw natural sound. It gives the impression of compression and processing at a CD level. Where lets say….something like the Pa1X sounds very live and natural.

So it all depends on what your looking for. All in all well worth the money though.

Regards.
Sharp.
